Our Story: LaShay Greenwood, AKA Miss Greenwood, began her teaching career by attending the University of Southern Mississippi in 2015 and graduating in December of 2019. Since her high school and early college career, she documented her life and journey making homemade haircare and bodycare products via YouTube (A Day With Shay). After accumulating millions of followers on social media she decided to quit the 9-5 life as an educator to pursue her dreams of starting her own brand which is what you know to be The Mane Attraction.

HairCare: All items are handcrafted by LaShay and her team and contains all 100% natural herbs and oils. We take pride in our products because they are uniquely made with love and are composed of only the best ingredients. LaShay has been natural for over 6 years. She started transitioning in 2014 and began creating her own haircare products such as oils and butters to promote hair growth. I placed an order with The Mane Attraction on 04/15/2024 but have not as of yet received my merchandise.
I’ve tried several to reach The Mane Attraction, and after several attempts I was finally able to speak with a live representative. I made her aware of my concerns/situation, and that I still had not received my order. She told me that my order had been shipped, so maybe I needed to check with the postal service, at which point I told her that I had been checking the status of my order every other day and the website was still showing a waiting status.. So’ I just informed her that if I hadn’t received my order in a few days, I would just call back and cancel the order for a full refund but she told me that I wouldn’t be able to get a refund, because the order had already been shipped. Again I stated, that my order had not been shipped, that’s the whole reason for me contacting them. She was very short and unprofessional. She didn’t give me any kind of information on why I had not received my order. I felt myself becoming frustrated, so I thanked her for her time and hang up. Well fast forward, a few day had gone by, so once again I checked the website and it was still showing the waiting status. At this point I called back with every intention on canceling my order, although I was told a few days earlier that I wouldn’t be able to get a refund but I knew that something had to give.
I regrettably placed the call, praying to not get another rude customer service representative, voided of any kind of professionalism, and to my surprise I got a very informative representative. Which made me aware of my order status and that it was held up, due to a portion of my order being out of stock. I was told that the product should be in by the end of the week, and would be shipped out right away. Now I’m playing the waiting game once more, but base on all the positive reviews, I’m willing to wait a little while longer but not too long…
